About
Brisbane's record label Trans:Com has been championing independent electronic music productions since 1994, and has two exciting new projects ready to go: an EP by Brisbane musician Peter Greasley as 'hedfog', whose Brisbane DNA runs deep via acts like 'Tainted Violets', 'Atomic Beat Squad', and 'Dream Circle' - all represented in Trans:Com's published history of the Brisbane scene titled 'BNE'; and a collaboration with Manchester band 'Sea Fever', showcasing their singles along with newly commissioned remixes by Brisbane/Australian producers 'Boxcar', 'Vision Four 5', 'Alieonix', 'hedfog' and 'Dharma Buffer'. 'Sea Fever' are fronted by Iwan Gronow ('Haven', Johnny Marr) and Beth Cassidy ('Section 25'), and also feature Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham from 'New Order', plus Elliot Barlow.
Release will showcase these new collaborations with a live performance by 'hedfog', DJ sets by 'Boxcar' and 'Jen-E', and a live Q&A with 'Sea Fever'.
