ROBBIE O’BRIEN

Robbie is a theatre maker, performer and educator. He has a long history with devised new work, contemporary performance, physical theatre and participatory performance. His recent MFA research on play and relational art has given him a passion for giving audiences space to play and create. He believes theatre and performance can be a site for communal experience, negotiation and genuine encounter. He has performed and created work with artists such as Polyglot, Motherboard, The Danger Ensemble, Liesel Zink and Zen Zen Zo. Robbie also works as a Clown Doctor with The Humour Foundation visiting sick and injured kids at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.
